Durable Solutions for Reliable Performance in Harsh Environments
Continuous Casters
Steel slabs are formed on continuous casting machines with dozens of rollers that convey and cool the steel. Overheated rolls can seize, resulting in costly downtime and production losses. To prevent this, the rolls are continuously cooled with water that is circulated through rotating unions.
Deublin unions are used for clamping and unclamping of steel-strip down coilers. An optional second union supplies grease to lubricate the moving elements of the winder.
